Her career includes almost 15 years of delivering court communications strategy and public education programmes to audiences across the Caribbean region. Seanna champions the broadened use of technology to engage with court customersthrough web and digital media platforms. As a certified court administrator, Seanna serves on the leadership team that will soon introduce the Small Claims Court system in Trinidad and Tobago. Roman Babiy, Member of Parliament of Ukraine. FABRÍCIO BITTENCOURT DA CRUZ is a Federal Judge and the former Secretary-General of the Brazilian National Council of Justice. He also serves as a Professor of Law at the State University of Ponta Grossa, Brazil, where he holds a Ph.D. and teaches master’s and doctoral students in Legal Design and Access to Justice Optimization. A TEDx speaker on “The New Art of Teaching,” Fabrício is a frequent lecturer on topics such as Legal Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and Justice Administration. He has spoken at leading international venues in cities like London, Lisbon, The Hague, Washington, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, and Riyadh. Fabrício leads the “MindTheGap Innovation in Law Project”, a collaborative initiative of over 200 members across Brazil. The project focuses on five key research areas: Legal Innovation, Blockchain and Smart Contracts, Legal Design and Visual Law, Legal Language and AI Systems, and improving Access to Justice. KEVIN J. BOWLING JD, MSJA, CCE, ICM Fellow is a certified Court Executive and was the Trial Court Administrator and Attorney Referee (Retired) for the 20th Judicial Circuit Court and the Ottawa County Probate Court in Ottawa County, Michigan. He is Chief Administrative Officer for the International Association for Court Administration, a Past President of the National Association for Court Management, Co-Chair of the COSCA/NACM/NCSC Joint Technology Committee, and Chair of the Department of Justice Global Advisory Committee. His work in the judicial system spans more than 45 years with time spent as a court administrator, attorney, judicial educator, and court consultant, including service in western Africa as Deputy Chief of Party for the Nigeria Justice Sector Assistance Project. Mr. Bowling served for 20 years in a variety of positions with the Michigan Supreme Court, including State Judicial Educator and Regional Court Administrator. Mr. Bowling received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Public Administration from Providence College, Providence, Rhode Island; a Master of Science in Judicial Administration from the University of Denver College of Law; a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan; and is a Fellow of the Institute for Court Management. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Ottawa County Bar Association, International Association for Court Administration, National Association for Court Management, and Michigan Juvenile Justice Vision 20/20. Mr. Bowling currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Association for Court Administration and is a faculty member of the National Judicial College. The Office she's leading has set the standards for the quality assessment of the courts' work and prepares the annual priority measures for the courts in Slovenia. As a Deputy Minister of Justice Ms. Brecelj was, among other duties, deeply involved in the legislation process. Ms. Brecelj was a Director (Court Manager) of the Ljubljana District Court from 2002 until 2005. In that role she developed nationally recognized results oriented budgeting model. As a USAID consultant she has participated in several administration of justice projects. She gives lectures on court administration and public relations. Ms. Brecelj is also the national contact person for EU Justice Scoreboard activities. Previously she has worked at the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia. She has obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from University in Ljubljana and passed the State Bar Exam in 2002. Tina Brecelj is a founding member of the International Association for Court Administration (IACA) and was one of the organizers of the First IACA International Conference which was held in September 2004 in Ljubljana. She is also serving as IACA Vice President for Europe. Tom Bruton was appointed Clerk of Court for the Northern District of Illinois on January 1, 2012. The Northern District of Illinois is headquartered in Chicago and is the third largest federal court in the country with its 23 district judgeships, 10 senior district judges and 14 magistrate judges. The Clerk’s Office consists of over 150 staff members, 27 court reporters and staff interpreters. Tom began his career in the Federal Courts in 2004 as the Property and Procurement Administrator for the Northern District of Illinois. From 2004 through 2011, he oversaw the Budget, Space & Facilities and the Procurement Department for the Court. In the Fall of 2022, Tom was appointed the Chief Executive Officer for the International Association for Court Administration (IACA). The Chief Executive Officer serves as the President’s primary officer in charge of executing and implementing decisions taken by the President with the consent and support of the Executive Officers. Prior to that appointment, Tom was the Vice President for Associations for IACA. In that position, Tom served as a member of the Executive Board and had the primary responsibility for identifying, connecting with and maintaining relationships with other associations. Tom has been a member of the Federal Court Clerk’s Association (FCCA) since 2005 and has been a member of the FCCA Board of Directors since 2009. In 2012, Tom was elected to serve as President-Elect of the FCCA. In August 2015, Tom was sworn in as President of the FCCA for a two-year term. He currently serves as the Clerk’s Council Chair. Throughout his career, Tom has been appointed to various committees and working groups. Tom currently serves as the Clerk of Court liaison to the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules. This Committee continuously studies the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and recommends changes to the United States Judicial Conference through a Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure. Tom graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with honors, majoring in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Additionally, Tom graduated from the Michigan State University Judicial Administration Program after submitting a capstone paper entitled, “Establishing a Succession Planning Program in a Federal Court Clerk’s Office.” Tom has presented this program at conferences and meetings. Ms. Burke received her Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Education Studies from West Virginia University and holds multiple coaching certifications. Assistant to the Head of the Vyshhorod District Court of Kyiv Region for the past two years, Bohdan Burlakov has implemented key initiatives to modernize court operations. He has enhanced automation for processing documents by creating and refining templates, improved digital processes in court proceedings, and contributed to establishing a court volunteer service aimed at making justice more accessible. Dave Byers is the Arizona Supreme Court’s Administrative Director of the Courts. He is responsible for a overseeing the operations of the Arizona Court system with over 10,000 employees and a total budget of $740M. The system also operates both juvenile and adult probation and 13 juvenile detention centers. Byers began his career with the court in 1978 as the first Director of the Foster Care Review Board. Before being appointed Administrative Director by the Arizona Supreme Court in 1992, Byers past positions included Director of the Program Services Division, Director of Adult and Juvenile Probation, and Deputy Director of the Arizona Supreme Court. Byers has also served as Chairman of the $34B Arizona State Retirement System; and is currently a member of the State Bar of Arizona; Member of the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission; a member of the Arizona Prosecuting Attorney’s Advisory Council; Governor’s Drug and Gang Policy Council; Department of Justice Global Advisory Committee. He is the Founder and first President of the National Association of Foster Care Reviewers, and Cofounder of the Arizona Friends of Foster Care Foundation. He served on, the Board of Directors, National Centers for State Courts, 2000-2001; President, Conference of State Court Administrators 2000-2001. Her currently serves on the Department Of Justice Global committee, the ABA Council for Legal Education and admissions to the bar, and the Arizona Bar Board of Governors. In 2012, Byers was honored with the Gabe Zimmerman Leadership Award and received the 2013 Warren E. Burger Award. He is the recipient of the National Centers Distinguished Service Award, the Arizona Supreme Courts Distinguished Service Award, the State Bars award of Appreciation and was the Cedar Falls, Iowa, Man of the Year in 1970. Ms Chan Wai Yin is the Senior Director of the Strategic Planning & Technology Division in the State Courts of Singapore. Besides the pioneering work in setting up the Courts’ Data Analytics and Planning Team in 1994, she also led in the establishment and implementation of the Justice Scorecard. The State Courts were the first public institution to introduce this balanced scorecard as a strategic focus performance measurement and management framework in 1998. The case study of the State Courts’ use of the scorecard was benchmarked by other public organisations and the State Courts experiences were published in the book of “Mastering Business in Asia : Succeeding with the Balance Scorecard”. She has played a pivotal role in driving the State Courts’ organisational excellence journey which resulted in the achievement of various local and international awards for the State Courts. These included the People Developer Award (1999), the Singapore Quality Class (2001), the Singapore Quality Award (2006), the Singapore Quality Award with Special Commendation (2011), the United Nations Public Service Award (2012), the Public Service Premier Award (2012) and the Global Performance Excellence Award in 2013. In establishing Court Excellence at the international level, Ms Chan is the key officer who formulated the International Framework for Court Excellence (IFCE) and has been actively involved in the work of the International Consortium for Court Excellence (ICCE) of which the State Courts are one of the founding members. Since 2007 she has been involved in running various programmes, delivered presentations at local and international conferences, as well as provided technical assistance to courts in other jurisdictions to implement the IFCE. Most recently in 2024, she has led in the implementation of the IFCE assessment for the One Judiciary in Singapore. In view of her professional competence and outstanding performance, Ms Chan was the first Court Administrator to be awarded with a scholarship to attend the Standford-NUS Executive Programme in 2000. An exceptionally efficient and effective officer, she was awarded the Efficiency Medal in 2001 and the Commendation Award in 2007. As part of the State Courts leadership team, she had also attended the Governance Leadership Programme in 2010. Ms Chan had also held several concurrent / other appointments over the years, including key appointments such as Chief Information Officer, Deputy Chief Data Officer, Chairperson of Managing for Excellence, Senior Director of the Criminal Justice Division and Senior Director of Court Services Division, amongst others. Advocate Dr. Bidhya Chapagain Dr. Chapagain is an accomplished lawyer in Nepal with over 20 years of experience in policy review, advocacy for access to justice, and judicial reform. She has collaborated with national, regional, and international NGOs, as well as intergovernmental agencies. Currently, she provides advisory services at the Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) in Nepal. She also serves as a National Consultant for UN Women and as a thematic consultant for JuRI-Nepal and UNFPA. While pursuing her PhD, Dr. Chapagain assisted as a Research Fellow for the National Judicial Academy in 2019. She served as a National Legal Advisor for the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ-Nepal) for about two and half years, where she contributed notable studies such as "Baseline Survey on Advancing Justice Sector Reform to Address DVAW in Four Selected Districts of Nepal", Execution of Court Decisions related to Compensation on Rape Cases’, and the ‘Fast-Track Court System in India and its Relevance to Establishment in Nepal’. She worked as the Nepal Focal Point for the Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) for a year in 2007. She began her career as a Program Manager for Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC), where played a crucial role in monitoring and drafting reports for submission to international human rights mechanisms, including the UN Treaty Bodies, the UPR, the UN Special Procedures, and the International Coordination Committee of National Institutions. She contributed chapters on “Judiciary and Human Rights” in the INSEC Human Rights Yearbook from 2005 to 2012. Her PhD research, titled "Reforming the Judicial System in Nepal: Trusting Justice," examined the gap between the promises of judicial reform and access to justice in Nepal and the actual performance of the system. The study highlighted the disparity between legal frameworks and the practical accessibility of justice. Employing a people-centered empirical approach, her research included extensive interactions with both the judiciary and marginalized individuals across various geographical locations in Nepal. Giuseppe M. Fazari is a faculty member in the Criminal Justice Department at Monmouth University. He was previously on faculty for Seton Hall University where he also served as an Assistant Dean of Continuing Education and Professional Studies. Before working in academia, he was the Trial Court Administrator (TCA), Chief Administrative Officer for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union Vicinage where he had overall responsibility in the areas of caseflow management, court facilities, projects and services, financial management, human resources, information systems, jury utilization, probation services, and records management. Prior to being appointed TCA, he served the New Jersey Judiciary for 10 years in Essex Vicinage, the most voluminous district of the state, which averaged 150,000 filings a year among its case management divisions. During his tenure in Essex, Dr. Fazari served in the Criminal, Civil, and Operations Divisions eventually culminating his employment in the district as the Assistant Trial Court Administrator, Chief Operations Officer. Dr. Fazari is also faculty for the National Center for State Courts where he teaches caseflow management and court performance standards. He has served as a consultant for several domestic and international organizations including the Rodrigo Lara Bonilla Judicial Training School of Colombia, Supreme Court in Ukraine, and the Federal Judiciary and National Industrial Court of Nigeria where his areas of expertise included case management, court security, and business process reengineering. He was a Lead Developer and Subject-Matter Expert for the National Association for Court Management’s (NACM) Core Competencies for Court Administrators. He has been published in the Court Manager, International Journal for Court Administration, Campus Law Enforcement Journal, and Federal Probation journals, the National Center for State Courts’ report series Trends in State Courts, and co-authored the NACM professional guides on court security, business continuity management, court administration, and chaired the publication Achieving and Sustaining the Green Court. Dr. Fazari is the writer, director and producer of the award-winning feature documentary, Why They Kill, based on the book by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Richard Rhodes. The film distributed by the Films Media Group in New York City is also featured on Amazon Prime. He is co-author of the book, Historical Dictionary of American Criminal Justice, and author of Courthouse Confidential: Unveiling Lessons Learned in Leading and Managing Trial Court Organizations. He holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Seton Hall University where he also earned a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice. He is a Harvard-trained consultant and completed a postgraduate certificate in U.S. law and methodologies from New York University. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Court Management and was the recipient of the Vice-President’s Award of Merit for Applied Research. He is a Past President of the New Jersey Association of Criminal Justice Educators and was awarded the Jack A. Mark Award in recognition for his contributions to the field of criminal justice. First Vice-President of the Council of the Judiciary of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Former Deputy of the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. She teaches Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights at several universities. Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs Marc A. Giroux was appointed Commissioner on June 21, 2017, and reappointed on June 21, 2022. As Commissioner, he administers the Judges Act and oversees, amongst other things, the appointment process to the Supreme Court of Canada as well as the superior courts appointments process on behalf of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. His mandate includes safeguarding judicial independence. He manages a budget of $790 million, and he provides advice and support to approximately 1200 federally appointed judges, and 1100 retired judges and their survivors. At the current time, Mr. Giroux also serves as Executive Director and Senior General Counsel at the Canadian Judicial Council, where he works closely with the Chief Justice of Canada and Chairperson of the Council, as well as with the other 44 chief justices and associate chief justices who comprise the Council. His duties are related to the Council’s responsibilities to review and investigate complaints into the conduct of federally appointed judges, to oversee continuing education for the judiciary, and to pursue other initiatives to improve the quality of judicial services in Canada’s superior courts. Throughout his career, Mr. Giroux has held various positions within the federal government, including those of Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada, Judicial Affairs Advisor to the Minister of Justice, and Chief of Staff to the Minister for International Cooperation. Prior to being appointed to his current position, he occupied the role of Deputy Commissioner. Amongst other things, he has headed Canadian judges’ delegations in several international cooperation projects, including some in Ukraine, Mexico, China and Jamaica; his other undertakings include appearances before various parliamentary committees; participation as a panellist at numerous conferences; and lecturing at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa. He has significant management experience, and has acquired expertise in the areas of judicial independence, conduct, education and appointments. Mr. Giroux was called to the bar in 1994 after having graduated from the Faculty of Law, and previously the Faculty of Arts, of the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario and the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice. Dr. Noradura binti Hamzah has served as the Director of the Policy and Legislation Division at the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia (PKPMP) since 2021. In this role, she oversees key areas including policy, legislation, judicial reform, international relations, and contracts for the Malaysian Judiciary. Additionally, she is the Secretary to the Publication Committee of the Journal of the Malaysian Judiciary (JMJ), published by the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC), and a member of the secretariat for the Malaysian Judiciary’s Yearbook. Dr. Noradura graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours (Second Class Upper) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2000, where she also earned a Diploma in Islamic Judicial Administration and Legal Profession (Advanced Diploma). She later obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M) from UKM in 2006, focusing her thesis on Freedom of Religion under the Federal Constitution. In 2018, she was awarded a Federal scholarship and completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from UKM. Her PhD research on State Sovereignty Over Air Space and The Application of Competition Law in The Aviation Sector in Malaysia was published as a book by UKM Press in 2019. Dr. Noradura was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2001 and also holds an Accredited Mediator Certificate as well as a Diploma in Professional Translation. Since joining the Judicial and Legal Services on 13 December 2001, Dr. Noradura has held various significant positions. She began her career as a Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR) in the Civil Division of the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur and later served in the Commercial Division. She has also worked as a Research Officer to a Federal Court Judge, Special Officer to the 7th Chief Justice of Malaysia, Tun Arifin bin Zakaria, Sessions Court Judge for General Crimes in Kuala Lumpur, Sessions Court Judge for Sexual Crimes in Kuala Lumpur, and Deputy Director of the Policy and Legislation Division at PKPMP. Beyond her judiciary roles, Dr. Noradura is actively involved in academia and alumni associations. She currently serves as the Honorary Secretary of the UKM Alumni Council and Deputy Secretary of the UKM Law Faculty Association. Mohammed Jalees is the Director of the Access to Justice (A2J) Programme at the Singapore Courts. Heading the A2J Programme Office, Jalees is responsible for ensuring that the Courts facilitates court users’ journey into the justice system, and to kick-start a culture of facilitating access to justice among court officers. To do so, his programme office charts the strategy and policy for access to justice, drives design-driven projects that reorientate services and processes to be more user-centric, scales best practices across the Judiciary and facilitates ground-up projects by court officers. Prior to this, Jalees was involved in a diverse array of Whole-of-Government strategy, policy and planning efforts at the Singapore Public Service. Jalees was responsible for re-imagining and transforming how the Public Service delivers services to everyone in a citizen-centric and delightful manner at the Public Service Division, under the Prime Minister’s Office. In 2021, he set up ServiceSG, a department that aims to integrate the delivery public services across public agencies, to serve citizens better. He has had stints at the Ministry of Home Affairs from 2012 – 2014, the Strategic Policy Office (Public Service Division) of the Prime Minister’s Office from 2009 – 2012, and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports from 2006 – 2009. Milena Jenovai is a seasoned professional in Democracy and Governance development, specialized in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs related to rule of law, judicial reform, anti-corruption, and civil society. She joined USAID Serbia in 2008, where she serves as a Project Management Specialist, overseeing the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption programs while actively engaging in civil society initiatives that promote good governance. Her role includes formulating USAID’s strategic objectives and designing and initiating new DG projects that promote democratic development. She serves as a technical advisor, analyzing social and political events relevant to judicial reform and anti-corruption for senior USAID and U.S. government officials. In addition, she acts as a key liaison between USAID, senior Serbian officials, and the international community, facilitating collaboration in the democracy and governance sphere. Prior to her role at USAID, Milena worked for the Montenegro Border Security Program, an essential initiative administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection within the Department of Homeland Security. In this capacity, she played a vital role in enhancing border security efforts, facilitating effective communication, and fostering collaboration between U.S. and Montenegrin authorities, significantly contributing to the program's objectives and strengthening bilateral relations. Milena holds a Master's degree in Spanish Language and Hispanic Literature and is currently completing a Master's degree in American Foreign Policy at Belgrade University. She is fluent in English and Spanish, with basic proficiency in French. In her personal life, she is a dedicated mother to one daughter. Liz Kennedy is the Manager, Judicial Communications and Engagement in the Office of the Chief Justice of New Zealand | Te Tari Toko i te Tumu Whakawā o Aotearoa. She leads the Communications and Engagement Team, and has oversight of all media queries and external relations for the Chief Justice and the senior courts judiciary. Liz’s role is both strategic and incident-based, with proactive and reactive responsibilities. She supports individual judges to enable media coverage of high-profile trials, and in the event of unfair public criticism. Liz is the lead advisor to the New Zealand judiciary’s Media and Courts Committee – a forum where senior judges, news media representatives and publication editors, and senior court registry representatives discuss issues of mutual concern. She is also the lead advisor to Huakina kia Tika, a judicial committee tasked with strengthening and protecting the principle of open justice in the courts. Iryna Kotliarova is an experienced judge and Chief Judge of the Vyshhorod District Court in the Kyiv region . With a judicial career spanning over two decades, she has led the court as a model institution for international initiatives. Under her leadership, the court has been a pilot site for key programs such as the EU’s “Pravo-Justice” and USAID's “Justice for All,” emphasizing innovation and international collaboration in the Ukrainian judicial system. Dr Leonard Lee has been at the helm of the Community Justice Centre since its fledging years in 2013. Previously, he has held various leadership positions across different non- profit organizations, with experience spanning more than 20 years. He was also a scholar from the Singapore Management University and specializes in Multi-Sector Collaboration and Business Administration. Economic, cultural and social barriers to the justice system continue to exist in Singapore and the access to justice remains a challenge. Under his leadership, the Community Justice Centre has exemplified that through innovation, knowledge management and establishing strong collaborative partnerships, it can effectively draw upon the unique strengths of various sectors to close the socio-legal gap for many in Singapore. James Leong is the Chief Knowledge Management Officer who led the formation of the Knowledge Management Office in March 2021 to advocate knowledge as the Judiciary’s strategic asset, building a culture of sharing knowledge and best practices across SG Courts. Clerk, United States Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida After having served as the Clerk of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida for 18 years, Sheryl Loesch was appointed as the Clerk of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida in April 2017. Prior to her appointment as Clerk in the United States District Court, Ms. Loesch served as the Chief Deputy Clerk for the District of Kansas for three years. Ms. Loesch began her career in the judiciary serving as the Deputy in Charge of the Jacksonville Division of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida from 1989-1996. Ms. Loesch currently serves as Clerk liaison on behalf of the Federal Court Clerks Association to the International Judicial Relations Committee of the Judicial Conference of the United States. Dragana Lukic has over 20 years’ experience managing complex donor-funded projects in judicial reform and prevention of GBV in Serbia, Montenegro, and Moldova. Ms. Lukic has held managerial positions and provided consultancy services to various International Organizations and Serbian Government Ministries on program budgeting, capacity building, grants management and public procurement, EU pre-accession negotiations, justice efficiency, training and capacity building of judges and civil servants, public finance reform, harmonization with EU standards and CoE recommendations, anticorruption policies, institution building, policy and strategy planning and development. For over 12 years, Ms. Lukic served as the DCOP on three successive USAID-funded rule of law projects. One of her key contributions to the success of projects was an in-depth understanding of the judicial reform landscape in Serbia, the relationship between key governmental and non-governmental stakeholders, and the relationship between them and the political economy affecting those areas. Ms. Lukic’s technical expertise includes managing the drafting, adoption, and promotion of the first Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence in Serbia; facilitating the development of the judicial development strategy framework; developing and implementing e-Justice solutions; and fostering cooperation between the judiciary and civil society. Ms. Lukic also provided comprehensive support to the Serbian judiciary, tackling legislative and regulatory reform, modernizing court processes through case management software and other e-tools, improving transparency through a communication strategy for the judiciary, managing the delivery of robust training programs, and ensuring civil society participation through grants. She has gained vast experience in project and change management, capacity and institutional building experience in judicial reform, prevention of GBV, and strategy framework development. As DCOP and in her role as Assistant Minister of Justice, Ms. Lukic has extensive experience in the areas of strategic planning, management of staff, administrative support, and budgeting. Her budgeting acumen has also been honed from previous work on budget support projects at the Ministry of Finance. With her in-depth knowledge of the substance and dynamics of Serbia’s EU accession process under Chapter 23, she is uniquely positioned to continue delivering technical assistance and other support to judicial institutions and civil society to advance the reform and development agenda. She gained proven training development and implementation experience working subsequently with the Judicial Academy under the EU Project on training curricula standardization and upgrade. Mattison is the Deputy Court Administrator of the Pima County Superior Court in Tucson, Arizona, serving as the Deputy Court Administrator for the Consolidated Justice Courts. Previously, she served as the Deputy Court Administrator for Pima County’s Juvenile Court from 2015-2022 and worked for both Riverside and Orange County Superior Courts in California from 1988-2015. Ms. Mattison holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton and is a 2011 Graduate Fellow of the Institute for Court Management’s Court Executive Development Program. During her tenure with the courts, she has led numerous successful improvement projects, including caseflow management revisions, strategic planning, vicarious trauma training for staff, and the use of evidence-based practices in juvenile probation. Ms. Mattison is currently the President for the National Association for Court Management. Born on 11 January 1963, Justice Sandeep Mehta took oath as the Supreme Court Judge on November 9, 2023. He previously served as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court. The Supreme Court Collegium recommended appointment of Justice Sandeep Mehta, Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court, as the Supreme Court Judge on 6 November 2023 and soon, the same received clearance from the Central Government. Career Trajectory Justice Mehta enrolled with the Bar in 1986, joined as the member of Bar Council of Rajasthan in 2003 and remained one till his elevation to the Bench in 2011. He has practiced in Trial Courts, High Courts as well as the Supreme Court. He is due to retire on 10 January 2025. Research Fellow, Lawyer, and Senior Consultant Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on 6 November 2012. Chief Justice Menon graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore in 1986 and a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School in 1991. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore in 1987, and as an attorney and counsellor-at-law in New York in 1992. From 2006 to 2007, he served as a Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court. He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2008. In 2010, he was appointed the 6th Attorney-General of Singapore, a post he relinquished in 2012 shortly before his appointment as a Judge of Appeal. He was appointed to the Presidential Council for Minority Rights upon his appointment as Attorney-General in 2010 and was later appointed as its Chairman in 2012, upon his appointment as Chief Justice. Between 2012 and 2020, Chief Justice Menon served on the Governing Board of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, and he also served as a member of the International Chamber of Commerce Governing Body for Dispute Resolution Services from 2021 to March 2024. Patrick Nathan worked at the Prime Minister’s Office and was instrumental in setting up the National Security Coordination Centre. He was its first Deputy Director for Strategic Policy Development. He subsequently launched and managed the Government’s Risk Assessment and Horizon Scanning programme. In the private sector, Patrick was Vice President of Corporate Communications at a major public transport operator. Ari is a former magistrate judge in Lagos State judiciary, Nigeria. Dr. Elena Alina Onțanu is an Assistant Professor of Global and Comparative Private Law at Tilburg Law School, Tilburg University (The Netherlands) and a qualified lawyer with the Bucharest Bar Association (Romania). She is co-manager editor-elect of the International Journal for Court Administration, editor of the European Association of Private Law Blog (EAPIL Blog) and Board member of the Judicial Administration Research Association (JAR Association). In the past, she acted as a member of the European Commission Expert Group on Modernisation of Judicial Cooperation in Civil and Commercial and collaborated with the e-CODEX Team for the Me-CODEX project carrying out preparatory work for the cross-border digital communication of judicial documents between European Union Member States authorities.
